What you will be doing
Umicore is seeking a motivated Master internship student to join our Research & Development team. The intern will work on developing new catalysts for nitric acid production, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Assist in the development and testing of new catalysts for ammonia oxidation and nitric acid production.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and analyze data.
- Utilize programming skills to automate data collection and analysis processes.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret results and optimize catalyst performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations on research findings.
Who we are looking for
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of catalysis and chemical reaction engineering.
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
